We all have something in common and that is, at some point we all grow up.
And now, it's my turn.
This past November something happened that changed my life. I got engaged! Not only did I get engaged to the most amazing man in the world, but also to a hero. This hero's name is Michael. Michael is not just a hero to me, but a hero to the community he serves. Michael is a firefighter.
While being busy planning a wedding, I am also currently a college student working on my bachelor's degree in interior design. On the days I am not in school, I am working part time in a doctor's office, and I enjoy my time there. Simply because I am surrounded by amazing people all day.
Michael and I have many plans and goals for the future and I can't wait to share them with you. On the other hand, I myself have certain goals and aspirations that I would like to accomplish on my own. I believe that when one is in a relationship, he or she should always remind themselves to set their own goals for their future as well.
One should always keep in mind, that there is never a relationship that is worth losing your identity.
My goal for this blog is to share my personal experiences, and what it is like for me to grow up. Growing up can be tough and not many people will tell you what it's like, BUT I WILL! Believe me, I will be talking about much more! Please stay tuned and I'll see you next Monday.
